Remember Us? We're Back!

We know; it's been a while. We drew you in, made you fall in love with us and then just went away--no phone calls, emails or texts to explain our absence. We're so sorry. All we can say is that life...it got away from us. And the blog, it, unfortunately, took a back seat. It's not a great excuse, but, well, it's the truth. Nevertheless, we missed this blog. Hopefully you missed us and haven't forgotten about us!

It's been a year and a half since we last wrote. In that year and a half, a lot has changed. The last post we wrote was on June 1, 2012...three days after that, Stacy found out she was pregnant...with twins.

 Over that summer, Lauren launched a new business--opening her own law firm and expanding her practice as a legal guardian.

Stacy's twins were born 7 weeks early and had to spend the first 4 weeks of their lives in the NICU, but are now happy, healthy and feisty 1 year olds!

We both lost pets...

And both of us have been busy living and building our lives.

But, over the past year and a half, we have repeatedly talked about restarting the blog. With the onset of 2014, we decided the time was right. The name of the blog may remain the same, but the focus is changing. We are revamping ourselves. Don't fret! We will still talk about fashion, accessories, and our favorite products out there. But, this blog is going to be so much more. We are going to focus on all aspects of our lives--work, home, friendships, cooking & baking, party planning, organization, what makes us smile, what we want to change in the world, and, of course, fashion.

As The Accessorized Life moves into 2014, and we start over again, we ask that you, our wonderful readers, become an integral part of our blogging process. Send us suggestions, comments, questions and all the love you have to give. In return, we promise not to disappear this time. We are so excited for our new ideas and the posts to come!
